About the Artist . . .
I was born in a small farming community in rural Ohio, and have loved being out in nature for as long as I can remember. I always knew that I wanted to explore as much of the world and its fascinating creatures as I possibly could. As I grew older, I realized my passion for sharing the beauty of a captured moment in nature with others through my photography. After a few years of living in Florida, and very much missing having more than one season, I fell in love with the west and found myself fortunate enough to make my home in majestic Evergreen, Colorado. I have discovered endless inspiration and frequently find myself feeling as if I'm stepping into the places I'd only heard described in fairy tales. The amazing landscapes and diverse wildlife in the foothills and mountains of Colorado offer incredibly unique experiences that I always hope to bring to anyone viewing my artwork.
When I'm not taking photos for a client, traveling off on an adventure searching for a new location to explore, or spending time photographing animal friends, I can be found hiking with my best animal friend - our Rhodesian Ridgeback Knox, or enjoying a quiet evening with my husband in our mountain hideaway.
