Windows 7 and 8 Update changing in October

Post by Karen »

Just a FYI, Mister Softie is changing the monthly update process to be more like Windows 10.

Basically it is becoming an automatic roll-up bundle, no more picking and choosing check boxes.

I used to do only the security updates. Can't do that starting now. Good luck!

Best thing to do is keep up with Woody for Windows articles on MSFT antics and problems. Or switch to Apple. :)

I am thinking that the internet is going to be the end of civilization. I remember when it first came out, I tried prodigy with about 200 websites in the 90's and was worried right away about all the privacy problems. They have all come true including brainwashing us into believing it's all fine. Apple has it's own nazi issues with telling us what we are going to do.

I just don't trust MSFT to push whatever changes they want without asking first. I've been burned on Office, Bing Desktop, and get Windows 10, to name a few.

Its like if you wake up and Ford came to your house overnight and repainted your car a different color, or installed a 4 cylinder engine without asking. LOL
