Found this surprising. Thought cheap weddings would also have a higher divorce rate.

We got married in a Judges chamber at the courthouse, in 3 minutes, then we drove right to O'Hare and got on the nonstop to Maui. I never asked her to marry me, and she never asked me- If you have to ask, then you shouldn't get married. If its just not obvious to both of you, then forget it.
I am a free man living on the margins, I invest prudently to maintain sole custody over my solvent and sovereign self.
