Google admits Biden Admin violated First Amendment

Post by Karen »

It does not get any worse than this. Where is the outrage? Lol [Crickets]

Informed people already knew about this news bias for years. Side note- I don't see this mentioned today in "Google news headlines" lol

"The letter states that Alphabet “has a track record of pushing back” against government interference in its operations. rofllol ...Yet Google and YouTube complied with the Biden administration and silenced voices that diverged from the administration’s preferred narrative.

And it wasn’t just YouTube shutting down user sites and Google squashing content from search results. Google’s dominant advertising platform demonetized countless websites for having different opinions from the left’s narrative. "

We have every right to post outright lies and Russian propaganda!

Not that it matters, but the ends clearly justified the means..

"Tokyo Rose" was never officially "banned, so why were we?

Yeah you are the text book poster boy for that. It doesn't really bother me since my common sense filter takes care of that BS

The point is the Government can't step in and be the "filter" on social media. 1A Period. As Obama would say. Or lecture....

I really used to be interested in reading the dumb uninformed reader comments and feedback on various news sites but that has become blocked now days due to sign ons and browser tracking script BS. And Twitter X and Reddit are cesspools with too much noise.

I have better conversations at the brew pubs with real people. These local message boards used to be ok but everyone left apparently. I blame smart phones/FB.

Yeah, I really don't wanna talk to anybody who wants to go to Brew Pubs.

Just sitting and drinking? It's like an opium den full of junkies..I gotta be doing some kind of activity, like betting on horses, watching a ball game, or a fight. Did you know that every bar you go into in Australia, even the dives out in the outback, has dogs, horses, soccer, and boxing on TVs, and you can bet on them? It's part of the culture..Those are my kind of people, and I woulda have moved there if Kamala had won the election..

Mixed story on Tokyo Rose. She went to jail for a few years after WWII. She got out early for good behavior. And President Gerald Ford pardoned her in the 1970's. She shouldn't have been charged.

What about Berlin Sally? My dad got a mention on her show one day when a fighter flew in the wrong formation during a bombing run when they were fighting a bunch of Germans at the same time. He was trained to shoot it down if that happened because the Germans would use captured fighters to shoot down our B24’s. He did and it was one of our guys. He lived and they met years later.

Sounds like your dad was a storyteller, possibly an embellisher. I'll tell ya a true story- My dad's brother, who was at least 10 years older than my dad... He was a captured officer in WW2, and he said the Germans treated them well. They ate well, they played baseball, they put on shows, and generally had a good time. They took care of officers, I guess...I asked, "Was it like Hogan's Heroes?" and he laughed and said, "No, but it wasn't so bad. One day they heard American bullets hitting the front gate, and they were liberated...

My dad felt really bad about shooting that guy down for years. He didn’t tell that story, I read it in his diary after he died. I doubt it was “embellished”.

My father shot Rockets, dropped bombs, and machine gunned (from F-86D's) villages on the ground, and intercepted MIGs over Korea...and no doubt killed a lot of gooks on the ground, I don't think it bothered him, but he thought the Korean and Vietnam wars were not worth losing his life over.... He felt like a pawn
