Loves his wife, Karla and helping her in her gardens, beekeeping, playing his banjo occasionally, traveling.

I was born in Denver and, after college and a stint in Viet Nam as an Army Finance Officer, I was drawn home to Colorado. Practicing as an accountant lacked the people contact I wanted, so I began selling real estate in 1972. I will never forget those early days when I longed for the opportunity to find people who needed real estate assistance and I made a pact with myself that I would provide the finest level of service to every client I was ever fortunate enough to serve. Over the years, we’ve constantly asked ourselves what our clients really want from us and diligently directed ourselves accordingly. We are pleased with the resulting growth in our business and we are forever searching for the new technology, the better way to stay in touch, the improved marketing tools to serve our clients beyond their wildest expectations. Real estate market 'hot as a pistol'

Increased demand and a low inventory of homes in the under-$500,000 range are making the current real estate market “hot as a pistol,” said Tupper Briggs of Re/Max Alliance in Evergreen.

Since January, 327 homes have sold in the Evergreen-Conifer area — a 13 percent increase over this time last year, Briggs said.

On the other hand, there are only 442 listings on the current market, a significant drop from 729 homes for sale a year ago, he noted.
