Congratulations! Had a bear, we call her Ursula tear apart my propane grill to lick off the burnt on grease a few years ago. Never trusted that grill again after I put it back together.

A few years ago? It's every night here- You live on farm lands full of fences and scrub land with very few trees, my Ranch borders the Pike National Forest...

Post pictures from last night or yesterday, or don't post at all here

Our nearest neighbor is four miles away. We are surrounded by National Forest on all four sides. We are off grid. You live in an ex-urb.

I have a 400 yard rifle range on our 160+ acre parcel. The nearest gas station is at least twenty miles away. At least 40 acres of deep timber including redwoods. The original homesteader was a logger and cut ties for the South Park railroad.

Swear to god, I didn't read it- I've been up there 500 times in the last 30 years, and own land there- You couldn't pay me to live there- All the government assistance paid out by Park County is paid out there, and 90% of the crimes committed in Park County are committed there. I live in a bedroom community of white professionals

So sad, the Jefferson Market is up for sale again. Don't even have a gas station anymore. Should put an EV charging station in the old spot so Cybertrucks can make it over Kenosha Pass.

And I miss their breakfast burritos.

Am having to take more trips to Fairplay than I used to.

You miss gas station food?

You're like most of America, you're in a food desert- People all over this great land are eating hot pockets, frozen pizzas, bags of chips, and canned soups from the dollar store or gas stations- No wonder hillbillies are so fat and stupid

The diner in the Jefferson Market was actually pretty good. More a diner than fast food.
